The AH-64 Apache is a 950 size scale helicopter. You can fly the remote-controlled model helicopter with an electric drive. Hughes Aircraft is the author of the man-carrying version and Boeing still makes this helicopter to this day. In the meantime, McDonnell Douglas was a producer. The Apache is a heavy, twin-engine attack helicopter (English: attack helicopter, AH), which is mainly used by the United States Army.
A striking feature of this helicopter is the tail rotor, the armament and the wheeled landing gear. Our helicopter model also has all of these features. The GRP parts fit together like a 3D puzzle, e.g. B. the tail units can be attached precisely to the fuselage.
For the 950 Apache we recommend a system speed of max. 1000 rpm. Electric drive sets from VARIO are already matched to this.
Available drive:
Electromechanical 630/22
Our drive recommendation for this helicopter (Ord.No. 6300)! Contemporary mechanics specially designed for electric flight in the scale model. Electric motors are quiet, low in vibration, without exhaust gases and residual thrust. The flapping of the rotor blades can be more clearly perceived than with other types of propulsion and a prototypical impression is created in flight. For this electro-mechanical system in combination with this model, VARIO offers a drive set for 12S LiPos.
